Guidelines and terms

Brim Fjordsauna is a self-service facility. To ensure a safe, pleasant, and relaxing experience for everyone, we kindly ask you to read and follow the guidelines below.

General

  • All use of the sauna and sea bathing is at your own risk.
  • We strongly recommend that you do not swim alone.
  • Guests are responsible for any damage to equipment or facilities resulting from improper use or inappropriate behaviour.

Age Limit

  • Children and young people under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Capacity

  • The maximum number of people in the sauna is 10, for safety and comfort reasons.
  • This capacity must not be exceeded.

Alcohol

  • We do not recommend combining alcohol with sauna use and sea bathing.
  • For private bookings, a maximum of two alcoholic units per person is permitted (no spirits or wine). For drop-in, alcohol is not permitted.
  • Please avoid drinks that may stain or damage the wood interior.
  • Visibly intoxicated persons may be denied entry or asked to leave.

Towels and Hygiene

Please bring two towels:

  • one to sit on inside the sauna
  • one to dry yourself after swimming

This helps reduce wear and saltwater exposure inside the sauna.

For hygiene reasons, food are not permitted inside the sauna.

The Sauna Stove

  • Only fresh water may be used on the stove.
    Saltwater will damage the stove.
  • Water must be collected from the designated freshwater tap.

Time Usage

  • Please respect your booked time.
  • Be punctual, but wait to enter until previous guests have left the changing area.
  • When your session ends, please leave the sauna ready for the next guests.

Tidiness

Please leave the sauna clean and tidy — just as you would wish to find it.

A warm welcome, and enjoy your stay!

Kind regards,
Brim Fjordsauna
